Mido Cafe
A pineapple bun stuffed with a thick slide of butter, deep fried French toast topped with melted sugar and a pot of digestive black tea makes a traditional Canto-style afternoon tea. Travel back to the 60s in this vintage restaurant, the Mido Cafe, with alternating green tiles on the walls and ancient color-tinted windows. It was also one of the lasts of its kind where the city’s oldest generation brought their caged birds for a ‘walk’ to the restaurant while they chatted up their old buddies (very) early morning.
