[CLOSED] Kostel svatého Bonifáce
Built by German inhabitants in World War I and restored by Franciscans in 1989; the yolk colour church is a real picture, overshadowed by Ještěd Tower. It became state owned in 1998 and is fully operational for services and fund raising events. Getting here is easy, positioned adjacent tram stop Hanychov kostel. Take line 3 westbound from the centre of town towards Horní Hanychov at the end of the line. The church is located just two stops from the end of the line. You can walk around its circumference and glance up to the pseudo-Romanesque 33 metre high tower. It's a notable marker from the top of the ridge from Ještěd and other side of town in Vesec. #church #architecture #history
