At the end of the Stradun, you'll walk up to Dubrovnik Cathedral and Orlando's Column standing in front of it. The Column symbolizes the independence of Dubrovnik for nearly 400 years. This is the place were all the major important declarations were announced to the citizens back in the day. Sitting down the stairs of the Cathedral, enjoying a scoop of ice-cream and watching people walk by was a nice way to have a small break from all that walking
