Elephant Parade Haji lane
As far as ‘food streets’ go, Haji Lane is one of the most interesting ones. It is situated in the Muslim quarter of Singapore but it is home to just about every cuisine you could think of! Strolling round I saw a Swedish fika cafe, a Dutch restaurant and a trendy Mexican tapas bar! It really reflects the multicultural nature of Singapore and also feeds the ex-pat community. I adore Kampong Glam as it is such a small but rich and dense area of Singapore which contrasts against the giant insurance company skyscrapers and fancy hospitals that sit nearby!
