Almost everyone who comes to this classy gallery near the Met comes for one painting only, Klimt’s legendary “Woman in Gold”. However I prefer their collection of the works by Max Beckmann, Oscar Kokoschka and (IMHO) the greatest artist of all time, Egon Schiele. Neue has fabulous temporary exhibitions and a delightful cafe. Do not miss this one!
