Flat12 is a bonus brewery because their beers are actually brewed in Indianapolis - but they’re too good to not put on this list. And although it may not be in Louisville proper, Flat12 is located just across the Ohio River in Jeffersonville. This taproom is fun because you can walk cross the Big Four Bridge (also known as the Walking Bridge) from Louisville and end up right at their doorstep overlooking the river. If you like fruit-inspired beers this is the brewery for you, with a kolsh series and some delicious wine barrel aged varieties.
