Until recently, it was common in Albania to have bears as pets to entertain customers in restaurants. But since 2001, a NGO rescue those bears and welcome them in this "bear retirement home". They have a lot of space to play and have a peaceful recovery. The entrance fee to this sanctuary is 1 euro and you can see around 15 bears, read their history, and enjoy the park.
