Castle Street
Considered the gateway to the Cotswolds this sizable town of Cirencester definitely feels like one compared to the other towns of say Minchinhampton which have more of a villagey feel. In a recess of the St. John the Baptist Church is the Anne Boleyn Cup. It was a gift to a local physician and later donated it to the church at the middle of the sixteenth century. The town also has a fantastic park stretching for miles and encompasses a distinguished Uni formally known as the Royal Agriculture College.
First there's Oxford and Cambridge; then there's the Royal Agriculture University (as it's now named)!
