Tomsk is definitely one of my favorite city in Siberia. It's a charming place with a very specific architecture, old and colorful buildings, synagogues, cathedrals, many parks, and interesting museums. And every year when winter is coming, Tomsk municipality organizes a contest of ice sculptures. Local and international artists compete to sculpt the most impressive creations. In the New Cathedral square located on Lenin Street, you can admire those creations. There are more than fifty very impressive sculptures in the park, related to the city or to Christmas/New Year.
