This is the famous Hainanese Chicken Rice from Tian Tian at the Maxwell Food Centre. The lines at lunch are ridiculously long; is much better to go later (at 3:00, I waited only a few minutes). It is delicious, and the rice is so good on its own. However, ask a local what their favorite chicken rice is-- I found that cab drivers (Singaporean cabbies are terrific) are an excellent source for eating tips. This plate was just a few dollars. #cheap-eats
