Oleksandriya Park
The formation of many parks in the region, Uman also being a prime example, were a result of Polish rule in the 18th century. They have been a retreat for Tsars of White Russia as well as numerous Polish poets and artists. The park prides itself as more of an arboretum than anything and is pretty obvious whilst drifting along the main throughfare. Alexandria Park has some splendid mix of ponds, statues, outbuildings and even a small Chinese bridge coupled with a bronze model of a Chinese man. You can spot him holding a parasol and adorned in local garb. I could imagine visiting this place in autumn when the tawny, windswept leaves dance around the fitting features of the park and serene bodies of water. #photography #views #funforteens #park #familyfriendly #activekids
