Age, deterioration, fire and war have all taken their toll on this majestic structure throughout the centuries. But the Rathaus has also been restored more than a few times and the current iteration is really quite a sight. Guided tours on the weekends reveal palatial interiors adorned with portraits of various nobles and other fine artwork. The area surrounding the Town Hall is also full of picturesque spots to enjoy a little glass of something, the nearby Postwagen Restaurant is especially darling.
