When you hear the word 'fjord' one might think of Norway or Chile but Montenegro has one too! The inlet encompassing Kotor is quite dramatic. You can scale the southern flank past chapels and viewing towers, overlooking the town below and Dinaric Alps behind. The town has a long history although not obvious on first impressions. I loved their racing green shutters that are so customary in this part of Southern Europe. #hiking #photography
