Staraya Tserkov'
Suzdal is about as old as you'd get as far as Russian towns are concerned and many roads are still unpaved. Inspite of its size of approximately 10,000 denizens, it draws tourists year round making it one of the most visited towns in the golden ring. The meadows, paddocks and chapels perched on hillocks add to its pastoral, rustic charm and this photo is a prime example with a fitting backdrop of a deep grey sky.
