Rye, NH is a beautiful summer vacation spot; right on the ocean with lots of great places to relax, kayak and sunbathe. It’s also close to the city of Portsmouth with tons of history, museums, restaurants and bars, which is great if you want a break from the relaxed beach vibe. This picture is from my picnic spot at odiorne point state park, which has lots of free parking (more of a rocky/pebble beach)!
