Great Flood is a great place to grab a beer or three and hang with your buds. In a hometown homage, Great Flood is named after the devastating 1937 flood of Louisville. Their beer selection is on the smaller side but they hit each note well with their excellent standards. There is a sense of camaraderie at Great Flood, as they sometimes host “tap takeovers” with other brewers and other fun weekly events. There is no kitchen here but they do sell a few snacks and there’s plenty of restaurants on Bardstown Road to grab some carry-out before settling down to drink.
