Maksim's experience in Ðà Lạt
stay
[CLOSED] 51 Lý Nam Đế
I wasn’t disappointed when I chose to stay in a hostel away from the city center. I found myself in a very nice neighborhood and stayed in a very nice house, very clean, too. Excellent espresso, cereal breakfast with croissant (you don’t see that often at other hostels in VN). They even provided free towel, water, hanger,... Nick (Hai) is just awesome. He arranged everything for me, from a motorbike (brand new!!) to bus ticket and gave me tips on where to go, what to eat, etc... One thing I noticed during my stay is Nick did everything himself. When I asked, he just told me it’s because he cannot find anybody who can keeps up with the things he is doing. It’s odd but when you get to know Nick, you have to say he is not like any Vietnamese I’ve met. He speaks excellent English (even with a British/Australian accent), cares about his guests, takes notes of everything,... Very Westernized, I must say. Nick even told me about his plans for the hostel and I guarantee you it’s gonna be the best hostel in Dalat in the next few years. That’s for sure! Thank you Nick for making my unforgettable time in Dalat! All the best to you and your hostel. We will meet again the next time I’m in Dalat.
