You could be a million miles away at the foot of this reservoir. It is sandwiched in the south part of the Jizera Mountains and you will barely see a soul if you edge on down to its shores. The dam provides water for Liberec and Jablonec after passing through a treatment plant at Bedrichov, known for its annual cross country ski championship - 'Jizerka 50'. It's an ideal place to hike and bike owing to some flat and undulating terrain, as well as a some ideal places to stop for lunch and degust world renowned Czech beers. #hiking #mountains
