Cocles is a small town just south of Puerto Viejo. This beach is much nicer than what you find in actual Puerto Viejo. You can easily bike here in 5 minutes, or walk 15-20 minutes, depending on where you’re staying. I recommend walking the forest trails that lie between the road and the beach. Keep an eye out for sloths! They love to move slowly and wistfully. You can also walk up a small cliff on the north side of the beach for an epic vista over the water. #beach #costarica #swimming
