Balmoral Baths
The south end of Balmoral Beach features an old-fashioned bathing net (aka shark net). Over time, the net has become one of the most important seahorse habitats in Sydney. In fact, this is easily the best spot in the city for snorkelers to encounter seahorses – sometimes dozens of them in just a few metres of water, resting happily with their tails wrapped around the net. Around the nets you’ll also spot the adorable pygmy leatherjacket and plenty of sole and stingarees on the sand. #snorkeling #snorkelling #snorkel #beaches #wildlife
