Shinjuku Golden Gai
Golden Gai can be described as classic, nostalgic, expensive, legendary, etc when it comes to a night out in Tokyo. It's full of neon-lit narrow streets and alleyways lined with tiny hole-in-the-wall bars. Drinks are slightly more expensive here but you'll get some free Japanese tapas with them at least. The bar regulars can be quite friendly and hitting up a few bars in this area can make for an epic experience. While certain parts of Kabuki-cho in Shinjuku can be very seedy/not as safe, Golden Gai is fine. Wholeheartedly recommend! #food #open-late #bars #tokyo #japan #shinjuku
