Another Greek-Catholic church is that of St. Mary's in the district Elizabeth just south of the centre. Its simplistic design void of ornate characteristics would make it more befitting in a small village than part of a sizable city. On balance, its modest appearance and presentable entrance can easily draw the eye from passing pedestrians. The church faces a small park, Carmen Sylva, replete with benches and playground. It lies adjacent a tram line and The Communist Consumers Museum just a few blocks south of the Bega River. #park #church #architecture
