For a base for activities and visiting the various lakes in Slovenia - including Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj - opt to stay in Bohinjska Bistrica. This was the view waking up on our first morning in our Airbnb. Weather was cloudy and rainy nearly our whole time here, but with views like this we didn't care! The town has fewer eating and drinking options than the city, but you won't struggle to find pizzerias, and restaurants such as Strud'l serving up traditional Slovenian cuisine, as well as some amazing strudel and hot chocolate. #mountains #views #slovenia
