People come to Sun Valley, Idaho for the winter but stay for the summer. One of my favorite hikes is at Norton Lakes, a four-hour loop that guides you through 3 different lakes. The switch backs can be steep, though Idaho trial maps claim it's "moderate" difficulty. Bring good hiking shoes and water. The lakes are FREEZING but might be worth a dip just for bragging rights :) #hiking
