This is actually the de Young, but I made another spot for the de Young, which was really for the sculpture garden. The de Young Museum has an incredible collection of art from Africa, Oceania and the Americas, and has temporary exhibits on things as varied as the designer Vivienne Westwood and Georgia O’Keefe. Visiting the de Young is a must in SF. At least check out the lobby, the Ruth Asawa sculptures and the view from atop the tower itself. Plus the sculpture garden of course.
