Playa Amarilla
This beach is favorite among those who like their privacy. Completely undisturbed, the flat bottomed rock reef makes this break perfect for all levels. The beach is over a mile long, so it’ll take some time to walk (which you’ll most likely find yourself completely alone) and find it. On occasion, surfers can find this wave spitting out a few heavy barrels with the right conditions, but it’ll depend on the time of the day. Once low tide hits, the rock formation becomes fully exposed. Close by, you’ll find Gigante Village. It’s a small town located down a narrow dirt road full of people and livestock wandering about. There are a few hostels and restaurants located along the way so you can be sure to find other surfers and travelers hanging out nearby. #nicaragua #surf #surfspot
