White Lion
The big drawcard for the White Lion, without a doubt, is the gigantic outdoor terrace. Soaked in sunshine, elevated high on the cliffs of the Avon Gorge and with hands-down Bristol's best views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, this place is a favourite in Summer - and it draws a roaring crowd! But this place isn't just a one-trick pony. The pub's interior is a chic affair - rivetted iron girders supporting the roof, clean lines and elegant decoration offer an exceptionally cool environment for guests. The drink selection is brilliant, ranging from local craft beer and cask ale to a fantastic whisky selection to a lengthy wine menu.the kitchen is no slouch, either, serving up inventive pizzas, burgers sandwiches and desserts. Top tip: if you're feeling peckish, during your visit to the White Lion, check out the caramelised onions, kalamata olives and anchovies pizza or the spring onion bhaji, mango chutney sandwich. Delicious! #bristol #cliftonvillage #pubsofclifton #pubs #whitelionbar
