The site of more political unrest than anywhere in else in the country, Plaza Murillo is a spot to visit to get an understanding of Bolivia's unique history. Still riddled with bullet holes from some more recent political unrest, Plaza Murillo has even seen a President dragged from the palace and hung from a lamp post, which still stands.
