Piedra Blanca Trailhead
This is a hike in the Los Padres National Forest on Highway 33 outside of Ojai. Piedra Blanca means white rock and once you get out there you'll see the name is apt. It's only 2.5 miles to the rocks and back but why would you want to stop there?!? This rocky playground rivals the stone at Joshua Tree National Park with not as many people. Incredibly beautiful and unique and lots of fun places to explore and big rocks to get on top of. There's also backcountry camping all over the place and you can continue down all kinds of trails for some serious long distance backcountry stuff in the beautiful chapparel of Southern California. Beware of rattle snakes who like to sun themselves on the rock! #hiking #camping
