Bridgton, ME is often only thought about for skiing but it is a great summer vacation spot! Much quieter than many “typical” vacation spots in Maine too. It’s a small town with lots of local restaurants and cafes, but also lots of outdoorsy options! Long lake and moose pond are great spots for boating, swimming or kayaking! And Shawnee peak (pleasant mountain) has tons of great hiking and camping spots. I took this picture at the top of Shawnee peak after walking directly up the ski trails (very steep!!) and I couldn’t get enough of the views. This is also a perfect spot for seeing the foliage in the fall!! #lakes #mountains
