If you are already hiking the Ucka mountain then there is a little extra hiding for you in the second highest-built village in Croatia - Mala Učka. Resul the Macedonian Cheese Maker lives there with his sheep and dogs during summer. He just sits there with his black sunglasses and a pack of Marlboro cigarettes at a plastic table next to free range chickens. And that's what he does: he sits and waits all day long for tourists and locals to come to his back-to-basic stone house to get some damn good cheese and ricotta (croatian: skuta).
