Sanapur lake is a great place to spend the afternoon away from the hampi guest house street. You'll get there passing a dam and there are several spots around this water réservoir. Some signs on the rocks are warning about crocodile, but that doesn't see to be true. You might not feel comfortable being woman alone there as locals like to come to admire women in swim suits.
