City of Varaždin Nice small city between Hungarian border and Zagreb. There are plenty of nice old buildings, old roads, cafes and ice cream bars but no tourists. We visited city in the end of July 2017 and could walk alone in city's narrow roads and pedestrian areas. City's churches are nice as well but photographing is prohibited like in so many other church in Croatia. Castle of Varaždin is well preserved but simple. This city is just waiting for you to explore it.
