Arab Street
My favourite thing about Singapore is that you can be transported to another part of the world by just turning the street corner. Besides the Malay, Chinese and Tamil residents there are also small communities of Arabs who bring the Kampong Glam district to life. If you’re seriously craving some Middle Eastern food after days of noodles then you need to eat here. The smell of chargrilled meat fills the streets and invites you into the Lebanese and Turkish establishments while you glance over to the Sultan Masjid Mosque as prayer is called. It’s almost as if you walked onto the set of Aladdin. Nearest MRT: Bugis #restaurants #food #arabic #middleastern #kamponglam #lebanese #mosque #singapore
