The Royal Garrison Church in Old Portsmouth boasts history right back to the beginning of the 13th Century before being used as a garrison. The building stood strong for over 700 years before a raid in WW2 destroying the nave. Its present appearance is very telling of what it suffered. To walk around its exposed walls leaves much to the imagination of how it could have looked. #free #architecture #photography
