Saint Peter and Paul Cathedral
One of the jewels of Karlovy Vary is that of St. Peter and Paul Cathedral. It's positioned on the edge of town flanked by the Slavkov forest. The site was constructed at the turn of the nineteenth century and is one of the best examples of Russian Cathedrals in the entire country. Stepping inside really does whisk you to incense clad churches of the Orthodox devoted nations. The blue painted arches and golden coloured onion domes are a marvel among the chocolate-box town houses leading up to it along Krále Jiřho street.
