Capital Museum
Beijing Capital Museum is the possibly the least visited of Beijing’s great museums which is a pity because it is a great place to learn about Beijing’s #history, #culture, and folk life. The massive green pillar transecting the museum, or Bronze Exhibition Hall, houses a large collection of jade, bronze, #calligraphy and #paintings, and the main exhibition hall houses porcelain and culturally significant artifacts. The top floor is tons of fun with Beijing’s folk arts such as flour sculptures, lanterns, or Peking opera adornments, and the bottom floor always has neat temporary exhibits.
