This was one of the examples of the old buses in Malta, but all glammed up. The original British marques for them such as Bedford, AEC, Ford and Leyland used to operate as public transport around the country. That was until they started to be replaced by more modern lines at the start of the century. Now you can you take a ride in these vintage beauties as part of organised tours. Seeing them trundling through town is a treat. Alternatively you can part with 2.50 euros for a one way ticket from City Gate to the picturesque fishing town of Marsaxlokk.
