While not particularly attractive, Ruoergai town is a good base for exploring the Zoige County. The grassland outside of town is also a good place to meet the Tibetan people living on the grassland. Generally mistrustful of outsiders, the nomads come to the main road here to offer horse rides to the passing Chinese tourists. #culture #tibetanplateau
