Liberec underground
Before World War 2, tunnels under the old town of Liberec were formed for extraction of materials such as gold and earthenware clay. They then served as a defence shelter for housing two and a half thousand people.
The tunnels now house exhibits such as gas masks, radios and protective gear, commonly used in air-raids.
Opening times: Tours run the first Saturday of the month and last up to 90 minutes.
Location: Lucemburská, 460 01, Liberec, The Czech Republic
