Pottinger Street
One of the places I want to visit again for this trip is the "cobbled street" that left a strong impression on me about twenty years ago. Pottinger Street, also the Stone Slabs Street (石板街) has appeared in so many Hong Kong films that I used to watch when I was young and it felt so surreal as I stood on the reclining stone slabs for a picture then. Now, this street is a popular tourist attraction in Central and both aisles are cramped with stores as their display and wares spill over the street. Visit in the evening and you can walk further down to well-known expatriate haunt, Lan Kwai Fong (蘭桂坊), for a drink too!
