National Museum of China
One of the largest #museums in the world, the National Museum is a 16 acre behemoth showcasing ancient artifacts from across #China. Like the Palace Museum, the National Museum boasts a collection of over 1 million items, although many aren’t on display to the public. The most noteworthy of the permanent exhibitions is probably the Ancient China collection that houses thousand year old #bronze cauldrons. Also of note are the ancient ceramics which began around 2000 years ago. Visitors can also see #jade carvings, Buddhist sculptures, and ancient money. #history #art
