Yanaka is one of Tokyo’s oldest neighbourhoods, filled with old wooden houses and temples that have survived fire and war. Running through its heart is Yanaka Ginza shopping street, with shops that have been in business for decades alongside hip new businesses. Yanaka is well-known for the cats wandering around the neighbourhood, and several shops have cat themed goods.
