A borda is a wood and stone building often covered by a slate roof in agricultural regions of Andorra. Originally they were used for storing farming supplies and sheltering livestock. Today you can find them restored serving as restaurants for the gastronomic and cultural tourism. We headed to this place a little out of the centre of Andorra la Vella and were far from disappointed. Whilst there are modern touches to this spot the character of the cottage cozy feel was kept. The clay pots, pastoral paintings and wagon wheels adorning the exterior and interior you can get a real sense of slow-paced village life here. Besides its visual appeal the food is what truly impresses.
