We made a spontaneous decision to stop by Mount Asahi on the way to Furano. It is the tallest peak in Hokkaido, part of the Daisetsuzan National Park, and is a popular hiking spot through the year. I didn't manage to get much good photos because bad weather was already on the edge, and our hike lasted 30 minutes. I've seen the photos of different spots along the trails and they are gorgeous. There's a hot spring somewhere too. You may take the easy way up by riding the gondola. #hiking #hotspring #onsen #alpine
