Among a handful of operators you can take boat from Poděbrady harbour to a number of nearby destinations on the Elbe. Our tour took a return to neighbouring Nymburk, eight kilometres down river and lasted two hours. Journeys are very pleasant if you're not bothered by other eager passengers wanting to be on the water too. Costs vary on the operator but for Blanice I., one senior and two adults cost a reasonable 40 euros (approx).
