There's a Uyghur restaurant named Rafariz in Tabor and the food is fresh and flavoursome. The fact we were lucky to get a table in this busy restaurant without reserving gave me reassurance it would be good. I had the Manti, palm-sized dough filled with meat spiced with black pepper. It's very simple but satisfying much like the lagman. One aspect that kept the quality high were how the noodles were obviously hand made. The flavours were not overwhelming enabling those new to Central Asian flavours a chance to really sample every ingredient. Don't expect a comprehensive menu but rest assured what handful of dishes they have won't disappoint. This is a place to come for casual dining, ideally a luncheon, to break up some sight seeing in town.
