The Brunel
The Brunel, named for the famous architect that designed both the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the antique passenger liner SS Great Britain, is perhaps the most local of Clifton Village's pubs. Perched on the corner of The Mall and Portland Street, the Brunel is the kidney of place you go where everyone knows everyone else's name. The high-standing tables outside, on the footpath, are perfectly placed to catch the afternoon sun - and they're tremendous for people-watching as shoppers, locals and visitors bustle up and down The Mall. Top tip: Mondays and Tuesdays are "Happy Days" at The Brunel - all pints and house drinks are only £3! #bristol #cliftonvillage #pubsofclifton #pubs #thebrunel
