Compared to the highly commercial and tourist focused circle crossing of Rovaniemi, this area feels more natural and deep. Slung on the side of a road among pine forests, the structure marks the beginning of the Arctic Circle region. Three long metalic poles angling inward form this three-legged tripod-like structure with an extra column as a support. The design resembles that of a teepee frame banded with Suomi in transparent lettering meaning 'Finland' in Finnish.
