Chinese Pavilion
Once called the Chinese Castle, this structure was part of a joining tower linked by a bridge but later destroyed. Finished around 1780 it marks interest in not only Chinese, but Asian cultures. The masterpiece is the oldest of its kind in the country and is worth a special journey if passing through Vlasim. Situated in the middle of Vlasim Castle Park it’s a distinctive landmark among the surrounding vegetation. Sadly a lot of the inscriptions don’t make sense due to weathering and repairs.
